VIX picks 3/4/08

Every Tuesday or so we’ll be featuring one of our wonderfully creative artists. This week’s pick is Philly gal Lauren Marsella, a recent addition to the mix. She hand paints  on shrink plastic to create earrings and pins featuring cultural icons and relics, from the obscure to the all-too-well-known.. Choose from Margaret Bourke-White (pictured), Michael Jackson, Liz Taylor, Val Kilmer or Queen Elizabeth, just to name a few.

I couldn’t resist the early David Bowie pin, with his different-color eyes!
